I don’t understand why you find it upsetting that a communist museum is interesting, there are many of these in countries all over Europe that used to be communist but have become independent.
Museums help people to understand what happened in the past, so it’s important for people that haven’t been exposed to communism have an opportunity to learn about it & develop an understanding & empathy for how difficult that life is, as well as make comparisons to their own lives.
